You Get What you Get

Fifth grade students were talking about their science fair projects today in class. Some were saying that it wasn’t fair that not everyone got to display their boards. (Top 70 from 4-12 were displayed for judging. We didn’t have the space for everyone)

Students then were talking about their grades. Teacher tells the students that if they didn’t turn in their board they would get a 0.

Student response: How can you give me a 0 on my board? I didn’t even turn it in!
