Responding to email

We as a staff got a friendly reminder that we need to take attendance every period. I don’t have to take attendance because of how my schedule is set up. Though I did provide a good response 

Why I can’t take attendance…

1. I prefer old school paper pencil recording.
2. Some classrooms were too hot for my personal liking
3. Some classrooms were to cold for my liking
4. I was in a meeting
5. My students would not let me do it. They said it was bad for my health.
6. There are monsters in the computer.
7. The voices said it would be unwise to follow directions
8. I solved the problems of world hunger and world peace… and told no one.
9. Really? We have to take attendance??? I didn’t know that!!! Wow!!!
10. You know, I just don’t see the benefits of me taking attendance every period.
11. Honestly, taking attendance, just cramps my style. I don’t like doing that. Sorry!
12, My doctor wrote me a note excusing me from strenuous work… especially attendance.
13. I don’t wanna!!!
14. Procrastination – I will get to it eventually.
15. Aiming for a perfect 0 on my professional responsibilities. I set my standards high.
