Hello!
Welcome to my little slice of special!
A little about myself… I am an 12 (almost 13 year) veteran special education teacher. I have a K-12 Special Education teaching license in Mild Disabilities. Through my career, I have done a little of everything. I have worked in both rural and urban schools. Public schools, private schools, and charter schools. One thing I know, is that no matter where they go to school, kids are kids and they have provided me plenty of hours of laughter. I promise you that the stories that are written here are true. Names may be changed.
Currently I work in a full inclusion, K-12 building. I willingly work with 7th and 8th graders. Yes you read that right, and yes I am a bit crazy for that. In my spare time (because I don’t have enough) I also attempt to run the special education program in my building.
Please know that what I write here, is my own opinion and does not reflect the opinions or thoughts of my current employer.
My goal is to share with you the reader, the comedy that is my day with my students. Please enjoy!
