Morning starts with manifestation meeting - therapist says that the IEP wasn't implemented because she wasn't notified. Nope sorry it was followed... your just not part of the IEP. Can't save them all.
Then mom drops the bombshell that both sons have a pending court case coming up for theft. Why? They were conned by another teen to steal something from a store downtown. Mom - here's your sign and the writing on the wall.
Told one of the deans today that I was no longer opening emails from him... Why? They require more manifestations and expulsion hearings. I ain't got time for that.
A student who we haven't seen since Nov 20 showed up today all smiles and happy. Dad said she will be going to an online school now. Cause yes this will solve all the problems...
Dad told a staff member that he didn't think that his daughter was autistic and that his daughter didn't think she was autistic either. Why? Because he asked her if she thought she was.
