Acomplishments

Here is what I got accomplished today:

• Finished make up statewide testing – student refused to write, and use scribe. Thus had a staring contest for 2 hours.
• Fight in the high school – resulted in one girl getting bit and a staff member breaking their arm to break it up
• Drug bust in the high school, that spilled over into the Middle School
• Phone call to parent about hygiene – parent doesn’t know what to do, can’t throw her in the shower.
• 1 st grade student threatened to kill her teacher
• Finding out that I won’t get paid for 2 of the 4 hours I was at work on Saturday because there wasn’t any potential students the second part.
• Finding out oh wait, we don’t need any SPED staff at open houses on Saturday- Just kidding!!

For those keeping count, in one day:

2 Manifestation conferences will need to be done

4 – possibly 5 expulsion hearings

1 referral needing to be done to the school counselor

Don’t know about you… but I call this a good day!
