Best moment

Tonight our art and music teacher organized an art and talent show that was great!!!

The moment of the school year came tonight.

One of our third graders was due to sing a song with three other students. The three other students did not show up for the performance. Not letting this deter her, she got up to sing anyway. In a show of support, one of the high school teacher’s joins her. Math teacher pulls out her cell phone to pull up the words to the song so that they knew them.

As they begin song begins they begin singing. Before long most of the audience is singing along with them. Then when we didn’t think it could get any better, 5 high school students go up and join them to sing the rest of the song. By this point everyone was singing in the room. To top it off, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room, even the music teacher was tearing up.

This is why I love where I teach.
