I may know more than the tech guy

Seriously had this conversation with the building tech guy this week:

Tech: (walking into my office) What room is this? (on the door)

Me: 168

Tech: What is your room extension?

Me: 168 – same as the room number

Tech: Do you have any phone issues?

Me: My voice mail light does not flash if I have a message, so I never know if I have one unless I check it.

Tech: May I see it?

Me: Sure go for it.

Tech walks over to my phone, puts it speaker and dials voice mail and it says that I have no voice mail.

Tech: You don’t have any new voice mail.

Tech: Do you have any other tech questions or tech needs?

Me: Nope, I’m good.
